Pediatric Submersion Injuries

with one comment

CMEweb has an offering on pediatric submersion injuries. This activity is approved by the American College of Emergency Physicians for 2.5 ACEP Category 1 credits (sorry, no CEUs, but they say the target audience includes nurses). This is a standard article-posttest format.

Objectives:

  • Discuss conditions that should increase suspicion for traumatic injuries
  • Describe the various modalities used to identify different traumatic conditions
  • Cite methods of quickly stabilizing and managing patients
  • Identify possible complications that may occur with traumatic injuries

  1. Hello:
I started a project ten years ago to develop my ideas to improve patient care. I am searching for help to develop them clinically. The silence is disheartening.
I hope that you would be kind enough to read about these ideas on my Blog at:

    Thanks for your kindness.
