Jewish Women International is holding a teleconference March 5th (Thursday) from 12-1pm ET: GPS Technology: An Effective Tool to Monitor High-Risk Domestic Violence Offenders.  Cost for non-members is $25 (free for members) and requires preregistration.

Leading the discussion:
Diane Rosenfeld is a Lecturer at Harvard, and former Senior Counsel for the Violence Against Women Office (now Office on Violence Against Women) at the US Department of Justice. She is involved in the national effort to promote the use of GPS monitoring of high-risk domestic violence offenders. Law School

Michael Bischof is the founder of the Cindy Bischof Memorial Foundation, established in memory of his beloved sister, Cindy. He has been a national advocate for better protection of domestic violence victims through new laws authorizing GPS, and led the effort in Illinois that resulted in the Cindy Bischof Domestic Violence Surveillance Act.
